Welcome to my website!
I am a senior research engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), where I serve as a data strategist within the Computational Social Sciences and Humanities programme. My work focuses on leveraging data to inform and help shaping more effective public policies. Before my current role, from 2018 to 2024, I served as Director-General for Economic Analysis and Foresight at the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government). In this capacity, I was responsible for delivering a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the Catalan economy, identifying key risks and opportunities to inform policy decisions and guide public understanding. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona and have been the recipient of a Marie Curie Fellowship. I have also been a postdoctoral researcher at Heidelberg University.
